File of Life

The Sandwich Fire Department is happy to offer the "File of Life" to all residents of the Sandwich Community Fire Protection District. Visit the station 7 days a week from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Bring medications, emergency information and doctor information with you. This is a program to better prepare the ambulance crew if we have to respond to an emergency for any individual within our district. If you have any questions or can not make it to the station, call 815-786-9241 or go to the contact us tab.

Smoke Detector Program

Having a working smoke detector greatly improves your chances of survival in the event of a house fire.  As part of our smoke detector program we will install smoke detectors at no cost to the homeowner, as well as inspect any existing detection devices with recommendations made for increased personal safety.  Residents that may need help changing the batteries in their existing smoke detectors or carbon monoxide detectors can contact us as well and we will come and assist you.  Contact us by phone at 815-786-9241 or by email.  Please leave a name and phone number where you can be reached.
